Climate & Weather Guide in Saint Kitts And Nevis
Climate zones, seasonal temperatures, rainfall patterns, and best travel times
Saint Kitts and Nevis has a warm tropical climate with little temperature variation through the year, making it attractive for residents who prefer steady heat and coastal living. Average temperatures are around 26°C to 27°C year-round, with the wettest period generally from July to November and a drier season from January to April. Rainfall is strongly influenced by elevation: coastal areas are wetter than many Caribbean islands but the mountain slopes receive much more rain. The islands are small and geographically compact, so climate differences are most noticeable between coastal plains and higher volcanic terrain rather than across broad climatic regions. Overall, the climate is sunny, humid, and warm, with seasonal rainfall and hurricane-season risk.
